If you are interested in being in the Cabinet you must submit your nomination to

winymca@aol.com and kesicard@gmail.com by October 10th

Chief of Staff, Attorney General, State Treasurer, Commissioner of Human Services,

Commissioner of Education, Commissioner of Economic Development,

Commissioner of Transportation, and Commissioner of Natural Resources

 

TO BECOME A CANDIDATE FOR

YOUTH GOVERNOR

Candidates must submit to the YMCA Youth in Government a video 2-5 minutes in length

This video should include the candidates qualification and why they should be a candidate These videos will be distributed to each participating school

Prior to Caucus Session A each delegation will hold a vote on the candidates.

At Caucus A the Director will announce the 3 candidates that will be running for Youth Governor

 

THE SENATE SEATS

There will be between 6 and 9 Senate Chairs elected at Caucus Sessions

There will be a Chaplain of the Senate, and Sgt at Arms of the Senate elected

The remaining seats in the Senate will be distributed in the following manner

  • Each delegation of 3 or more registered prior to Registration Deadline will get   1 senate seat.
  • The remaining Senate Seats will be distributed to the delegations 1 each to the largest delegations in decending order until all seats are filled.
