TO BECOME A CANDIDATE FOR

YOUTH GOVERNOR

Candidates must submit to the YMCA Youth in Government a video 2-5 minutes in length

This video should include the candidates qualification and why they should be a candidate These videos will be distributed to each participating school

Prior to Caucus Session A each delegation will hold a vote on the candidates.

At Caucus A the Director will announce the 3 candidates that will be running for Youth Governor

THE SENATE SEATS

There will be between 6 and 9 Senate Chairs elected at Caucus Sessions

There will be a Chaplain of the Senate, and Sgt at Arms of the Senate elected

The remaining seats in the Senate will be distributed in the following manner

Each delegation of 3 or more registered prior to Registration Deadline will get 1 senate seat.
The remaining Senate Seats will be distributed to the delegations 1 each to the largest delegations in decending order until all seats are filled.
