Delegation Information
Premier Delegations
In an effort to create a sense of pride in your delegation we are creating this new award for the program that will allow school and club delegations to receive recognition as outstanding participants in the Youth in Government Program. To be awarded this honor the delegations must complete all of the following:
CRITERIA FOR BECOMING A PREMIER DELEGATION
- Have a minimum of 4 delegates at the Youth in Government Training Session
- All members that attend the Augusta Session have attended the Training Session
- All registration forms and registration fees in prior to the deadline
- All bills having been submitted in correct form
- Minimum of 50% of the delegations must run for at least 1 office
- 75% of delegates sponsor or co-sponsor of at least 1 bill
- Have an advisor with your delegation for the weekend
- No violations of the Agreement of Conduct, or Dress Code
- Have submitted a School Profile Form
- Do not have any disciplinary problems during the weekend
REWARDS FOR BEING A PREMIER DELEGATION
Delegations will eat first at Saturday evening dinner. Have a plaque to put on display at your school or YMCA
ANNOUNCEMENTS OF PREMIER DELEGATIONS
This will be announced Sunday Morning at the Closing Ceremonies.
